Warranty Information

Opticron Binoculars, Monoculars, Telescopes and Accessories are of a very high quality both in their performance and construction. For your peace of mind we offer a range of warranties designed to cover you in the unlikely event that you have a problem with your instrument.

Information on the warranties and the products to which they apply are detailed below or can be found on each individual product page. If you have a problem with your equipment please contact our Service department either by email: service@opticronusa.com or visit the Service & Repair page.

 


Opticron 20 year Premiere Plus Warranty (North America)
Available on selected Binoculars, Monoculars, Telescopes & Eyepieces

During the first 5 years your product is covered by our 5 year Premiere Warranty that covers all the optical and mechanical components as well as the outer protective armor.

In the case of accidental damage or defects attributable to faulty parts or assembly we will assume responsibility for the full costs of repair up to 5 years from the date of purchase. We reserve the right to decide whether defective parts should be repaired or replaced.

During the next 15 years your product is covered for defects attributable to faulty parts or assembly and we will assume responsibility for those costs only, charging labor costs to carry out the repair. We reserve the right to decide whether defective parts should be repaired or replaced.

The Opticron 20 year Premiere Plus Warranty covers the instrument but not the accessories supplied with it. Accessories are covered by a 2 year Warranty.

The Opticron 20 year Premiere Plus Warranty does not cover loss, theft or deliberate damage to the instrument.

It is important you register your new purchase to activate your Premiere Plus Warranty. To register your product and activate the warranty please visit www.opticronusa.com/register and complete the form.

Premiere Plus warranties are available on new instruments purchased from participating dealers in North America and are transferable. If you part with your instrument please make sure the new owner has a copy of your original proof of purchase and re-registers their ownership at: www.opticronusa.com/register

Opticron 2 year Warranty (North America)
Available on selected Binoculars, Tripods, Mounts & Accessories

The Opticron 2 year Warranty covers all the optical and mechanical components as well as the outer protective armor.

In the case of defects attributable to faulty parts or assembly we will assume responsibility for the full costs of repair during the first year after purchase. We reserve the right to decide whether defective parts should be repaired or replaced. During the next year we will assume responsibility for material and parts only, charging labor costs to complete the repair.

The Opticron 2 year Warranty covers the instrument and accessories supplied with it.

The Opticron 2 year Warranty does not cover accidental damage, loss, theft or deliberate damage to the instrument.
