This Saturday 28th May is the start of Orca Watch 2022. Over the following ten days Sea Watch Foundation will aim to collect as much data as possible on the whales, dolphins and porpoises in the coastal waters around North Sunderland and Northern Scotland (Caithness, Orkney, Shetland).
This wouldn't be possible without the help of volunteers - Orca Watch is a citizen science event and anyone can take part. Although registrations have now closed for official volunteers to help on this year's Orca Watch, you can still join any of the land-based watch groups and contribute.
